Qualtech Resourcing are working with a very successful food manufacturing company. Four factors underpin the continuing success of the business, quality, service, delivery and innovation. Due to our current expansion plan we are actively looking to recruit a Flow Wrap Operative.

Main Duties

• Working in the bakery preparing ingredients for baking
• Set up and operation of multihead/flowrap/metal detection machinery.
• Selecting the correct packaging film and machine former/shoulder.
• Using ovens and furnaces for baking food products while adhering to strict guidelines.
• Making the necessary packaging installations and adjustments to comply with current specifications for length, height, bag fill, code date placement, seal integrity and sticker placement.
• Verifying and validating that case code dates are accurate and eligible throughout their assigned shift.
• Packing and labelling various products for dispatch.
• Testing/checks and documentation.
• Additional duties as and when required.
• Cleaning and hygiene tasks.

This role offers a very competitive salary and career progression. The ideal candidate will come from a food production background. The shifts for this role are 6am -2pm and 2pm – 10pm rotating with the occasional day shifts to cover.
